Welcome to our next IATSO Conference in Frankfurt am Main, Germany!

at the Goethe University Frankfurt

Current Developments in Etiology, Assessment, and Prevention of Sexual Offending

Update: Registration is closed! Thank you for your interest in IATSO!

On behalf of the Scientific and the Local Organizing committees, we invite you to the 16th conference of the International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders (IATSO) to be held at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) from August 25th to 27th, 2021.

IATSO 2021 will be our first hybrid conference which can be attended "virtually" or "virtually & on-site". Depending on your individual Covid-19 situation in August in your area, you may decide whether you want to join us in Frankfurt in person or attend virtually. However, since it might happen that there will only be limited space for an on-site participation, on-site tickets are given on a first-come-first-served principle. So, if you are interested in an on-site ticket and seriously consider to attend (given it will be possible to have an on-site conference in August), please register for the on-site ticket.

If local COVID-19 regulations do not allow the on-site part, it will be a virtual conference only. This means that participants who showed interest in attending "virtually & on-site" will be automatically allocated to the virtual only format.

IATSO 2021 will also be our first conference that offers an on-site track of keynote sessions held in German by experts from Germany-speaking countries.

If possible, most keynote sessions are prepared to be on-site sessions and will be live-streamed as well. Only main presentations from overseas will probably be virtual. Moreover, both virtual and on-site presentations will be recorded and put online, so registrants can also watch them at a later point of time.

Free communications and Poster presentations will be virtual only. Presenters are asked to submit an abstract and, when accepted, to provide videos of their presentations.

We do not offer pre-conference workshops this year.

All presentations will be stored in our video gallery and will be accessible for 3 months (until November 2021) to all registered participants and the IATSO team of the 16th IATSO conference 2021. IATSO does not provide any option to download or distribute them.

Pleae note that IATSO cannot guarantee that evey announced presentation will be held in times of a pandemia. When you register for the conference, you recognize the exceptional circumstances of a pandemia. However, IATSO tries its best to have a program reasonably in line with this announcement.

The conference has been accredited (ID 710026) by the Austrian Medical Chamber with 22 CPD credits. Since IATSO is officially registered in Vienna and the conference takes place virtually in any case, we have applied for CPD approval by the Austrian Medical Chamber. These credits are usually recognized by any other chamber.
