Prevent and Protect Through Support (2PS) Project Knowledge Transfer Workshops

Within the Horizon Europe-funded Prevent and Protect Through Support (2PS) Project, the University of West England (UWE) leads an array of tasks under the theme of Current Practice Review and Widening Activities.
The UWE team has worked to compile information and resources from professionals, practitioners, academics, and European policymakers dedicated to preventing child sexual abuse.
As part of this effort, UWE organised a series of three Knowledge Transfer Workshops (KTWs), held throughout the project to address specific questions and challenges in an interactive and engaging environment. The final workshop is planned to coincide with the upcoming IATSO (International Association for the Treatment of Sexual Offenders) conference in Poznań, Poland, from 26–29 August 2025.
The final instalment of the KTWs will provide an opportunity to reflect on the findings and progress of the 2PS project across its 30+ months of activity. It will also celebrate key outputs, including:
The StepTo.Support platform, a resource designed to empower CSA prevention practitioners.
- A suite of innovative training materials tailored for those working in prevention.
This workshop will also create space to identify ongoing challenges and gaps in the field, informed by discussions at the IATSO conference.
